Seller Agreement

Effective date: October 25, 2026

This agreement is between you and ClassroomWars AI (ClassroomWars, we, us). It applies when you sell digital products on the ClassroomWars marketplace. Our [Terms of Service](/policies/terms-of-service) also apply.

Who can sell

During our early-access period, selling is by invitation only. To sell you must be at least 18, live in the United States, have a ClassroomWars account with a verified email address, and complete payout setup with our payment partner, Stripe.

What you can sell

You may sell digital files for classroom use: PDF, PowerPoint, Word and Excel files that you created or have the right to sell.

AI-assisted work is welcome. If you used AI tools to help create a product, you must say so when you list it, and you must review and edit it for accuracy and classroom use before you sell it. Your listing will show a "Teacher-crafted with AI" badge.

Your promises to us and to buyers

For every product you list, you promise that:

  • You own it or have every right needed to sell it, including the rights to any images, fonts, clip art or text in it.
  • It does not contain any student's name, photo or other personal information.
  • It is accurate and matches its description, grade levels and subjects.
  • It does not contain anything unlawful, hateful or inappropriate for a school setting.

Permission you give us

You keep ownership of your products. You give ClassroomWars a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy and deliver your products to buyers; to create watermarked, low-resolution previews; and to show your store name, listings and previews to promote the marketplace. This license ends when you remove a product, except for copies already sold and the delivery of past purchases.

Review and removal

We review new sellers' listings before they are published. We may decline, unpublish or remove any listing, or suspend a seller, if we believe it breaks this agreement, our policies or the law. We will tell you why when we can.

Prices, commission and payouts

You set your prices, subject to the minimum and maximum shown when you list. We keep a commission on each sale. Your current commission rate is shown in your seller dashboard, and the rate in effect at the time of a sale is the one that applies to it. We pay Stripe's processing fees out of our commission.

Payouts are made by Stripe to the bank account you connect during payout setup. Stripe's [Connected Account Agreement](https://stripe.com/connect-account/legal) applies to your payout account. New sellers' payouts may be held for up to 14 days to cover the refund window.

Refunds and disputes

Buyers may request refunds as described in our [Refund Policy](/policies/refund-policy). When we approve a refund or lose a payment dispute for one of your products, your share of that sale is deducted from your balance.

Taxes

Where the law requires it, we collect and pay sales tax on your sales as the marketplace. You are responsible for your own income taxes. Stripe may send you a Form 1099-K for your sales.

Copyright complaints

We respond to copyright complaints under our DMCA process. If we receive a valid complaint about your product, we may remove it and will tell you how to respond. Sellers with repeated upheld complaints will be removed from the marketplace.

Ending this agreement

You may stop selling at any time by unpublishing your products. We may end this agreement or suspend your store with notice, or immediately if you break it. Buyers keep access to products they have already bought.

Changes

We may update this agreement. We will notify you before material changes take effect, and you may need to accept the new version to keep selling.
